His Last Night on Earth

Might as well just say R.I.P. to Leodis McKelvin now because I don’t think he’s going to make it off the team bus alive.
Here’s a screencap of his wiki from after the terrible loss (your fault, motherfucker!) to the insufferable Patriots.

The textbox near the top says “Fumble during Monday night football to lose game. All he had to do was go down on his own, take a knee, or even just continue out of bounds, but instead tried to make a move to break free with no blockers, since the Bills were in on-side kick defense, and thus was stripped of the ball as expected. The Patriots took over just outside the 30 yd line and cashed in a sure touchdown as everyone expected, to win the game.”
It was one of the poorest football plays I’ve ever seen; just a show of complete selfishness. I don’t know how he could possibly miss the gravity of the the game and the importance of playing safe at that point. I mean, the Pats basically handed the Bills a free win by kicking the punt instead of attempting the on-side kick. All they had to do was snap four running plays. Field position was moot.
As the funny person wrote in the wiki, “McKelvin was then given a Greyhound bus ticket to anywhere in America (except Orchard Park) and $20 dollars in loose change as his parting gift from the Bills.” If there’s any justice in Buffalo tonight, that Greyhound will be driven into a lake by the spirit of Ted Kennedy.
